Product Description
420 stainless steel pipe is a grade of stainless steel produced in accordance with the American ASTM standard (ASTM A276-2006 stainless steel bar and profile).
420 Stainless steel tube Price in China ,Manufacturer of 420 Stainless Steel tube
420 is equivalent to China's 3Cr13 stainless steel tube, containing chromium weight percentage 12-14%, containing carbon minimum 0.15%, typical value of 0.31%.
420 UNS Standard No. UNS S42000 (UAISI, ASTMA276,TP 420)
This is the most cost effective grade of steel. So the 420 Stainless Steel tube Price is lower compared to other grades of stainless steels and all metallic products in general. There are different versions of the material with low carbon and high carbon content. The low carbon version, 420 tubes are very good for welding applications as they have less carbide precipitation and less localized corrosion.

Product Application
Stainless steels are most commonly used for their corrosion resistance. The second most common reason stainless steels are used is for their high temperature properties. Stainless steels can be found in applications where high temperature oxidation resistance is necessary, and in other applications where high temperature strength is required. The high chromium content which is so beneficial to the wet corrosion resistance of stainless steels is also highly beneficial to their high temperature strength and resistance to scaling at elevated temperatures
